The best way to save these patterns for most of your quilting needs is to have the first and last on the bottom of your pattern. The churn dash is the one exception, (maybe you could find a few more) that uses the first and last on the top. Mine are saved with the first and last on the bottom because that is the way you will use them on most of your projects. See instructions for the churn dash on the following pages..
